We traveled to the Sahel Reserve in Northern Burkina Faso. We started in Markoye and then went to Oursi (where we slept on dunes and met Ousséini - our wonderful guide) via Gorom-Gorom. On the way to Reo, we stopped in Bani where we visited a mosque under reconstruction which had been damaged after heavy rains.
We met with more groups and held training sessions in Réo and nearby villages. As always, everyone was very hospitable and we had a wonderful time.
